12 Hour Nasal Spray
Dimetapp 12 Hour Nasal Spray is fast acting and long lasting providing 12 hour relief from nasal congestion due to colds, sinusitis, hayfever or other respiratory allergies.
Ingredients
Active Ingredient (in each spray)
Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride 50 micrograms (500 micrograms/mL)
Instructions
Adults and Children 6 years and over:
1-3 sprays per nostril every 10-12 hours as necessary. Maximum 2 doses per day.
Warnings
Do not use this product
- In children under 6 years. (Use in children 6 to 11 years only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner).
- For more than 3 consecutive days
- If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients
- If the tamper evident seals are broken or missing
Ask your doctor before use if you
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Are taking another cough and cold medicine
- Are taking any other medications
While using this product
- Frequent or prolonged use may cause nasal congestion to recur or worsen. If congestion persists, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
- Each pump nozzle should only be used by one person to avoid the spread of infection
- Do not exceed recommended dosage. For nasal use only.

Why can I only use the Dimetapp 12 Hr Nasal Spray for 3 days?
Repeated use without a break results in “Rebound Congestion” where you actually get the symptoms returning worse. Have a break after 3 continuous days of use and see your doctor if symptoms persist.Can I give my child Dimetapp 12 Hr Nasal Spray?
